Job Description:
We are hiring a Manager for our Swim & Tennis Club grounds, facilities and court maintenance team.
This role requires the oversight and maintenance of the grounds, facilities, and courts along with supervision of both yearly and seasonal staff.
The Facilities Manager will work collaboratively with the General Manager and the Swim & Tennis Board.
The Club is operational all year, seven days a week, and opens at 6:
30am and closes at 10pm.
The Manager, along with the General Manager, will determine the appropriate and flexible full-time schedule to accommodate the operations of the Club.
The work requires lifting, bending, standing, and other physical labor.
Training is provided for all tennis court maintenance.
The Manager role requires a candidate with high integrity, is consistent, and has a strong work ethic and sense of ownership.

The role also requires someone who is handy at household/facility projects, is able to work both independently and collaboratively, appreciates flexible project-based work, and has an ability to work both inside buildings and outside around the grounds.
Daily
Responsibilities:
Controlling club facilities, grounds, and court supply inventory Supervising grounds, facilities, and maintenance team Providing oversight and direction of club projects Maintaining the calendar for the seasonal grounds, facilities, and maintenance of the courts Upkeep of clay tennis courts (all training will be provided) - occasional lifting required for some of the clay court maintenance to be directed by the Club's tennis pro Filling tennis court water coolers and stocking cups Keeping tennis courts free of debris Sweeping or leaf blowing all Club walkways, pool deck, and outdoor courts Removing trash across the Club, including emptying trash cans and picking up trash Stocking and lightly cleaning Club bathrooms Lightly cleaning the interior and exterior of the Clubhouse Lightly cleaning and maintaining the pool deck, pool deck grounds, and pool deck items Opening and/or locking the facility Assist with larger facility upkeep projects Other miscellaneous maintenance tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Familiarity with cleaning products and procedures and tools and equipment like leaf blowers, pressure washers, etc.
Ability to fix minor Club repairs (training is provided for all court maintenance tasks) Ability to handle moderate physical work as there will be occasional lifting Ability to communicate well with others Ability to consistently work assigned shifts Ability to reliably commute to Club Job Types:
